Can't view manufacturer/code of media

Disc Testing Methods and Software Discuss, Can't view manufacturer/code of media at Blank Media forum; I was once able to view the manufacturer/dye type and id of my blank CD's but today I tried Nero 's CD-DVD Speed/Disk Info and all the fields are blank. I even tried CDR Identifier but the scan button is grayed out. I don't know what has happend. __________________ LiteOn

do you have Alcohol 120% installed? if yes, go to File Menu>Options>Emulation>uncheck all boxes. if you have any other "emulation" software installed, make sure the option to "hide cd-r media" is unchecked.
