RunCore unveils InVincible SSD with wipe & burn-out buttons.

RunCore has launched its InVincible SSD line, claiming to provide the highest data security with its two physically attached buttons, coloured green & red, giving the user a choice of whether to wipe or physically destroy the SSD.

I don't understand how this is anything new .... the OCZ Vertex 2 series self-destruct automatically ....

OCZ-V2 were very environmentally friendly and user friendly. No excess materials were required for self-destruct buttons, and no user-interaction is required to engage the self-destruct function.

And the best thing is that for security purposes ... it happens at a completely random interval, and without prior notification.

OCZ have really outdone themselves ... it's outright shameful that the rest of the SSD technology world is more than 18 months behind ....

I'm curious whether the Vertex 3, 4 & other series are as advanced, in this way, to the Vertex 2's
