Of course, sometimes the visits have gone both ways...

The Philly paper put together some other favorite Martians for us to ponder...

Glad to hear that this one went off without a hitch. With all the variations and dangers of space, rapidly moving objects on different trajectories, it is truly amazing that they got the thing to mars, let alone get it to work.

Yeah one of the guys in work told me about the proposed landing method a few days ago and it sounded horrendously risky.

Knowing NASA though they would have had it all planned out to the smallest detail.

It's still an amazing achievement though!
