| I rma'd my drive to BenQ. After dropping it off in person, I finally got the drive back 2-3 weeks and many angry calls later. They said they would give me a new drive, not a refurbished or fixed one. My old drive came with a retail firmware, although it was a bulk drive. This new one has bulk firmware. Nero InfoTool identifies it strangly as "[0:1] I:\ATAPI DVD DD 2x16x4x16" with a G7L9 firmware. Anyone seen this normenclature before? Should I have any problem upgrading to the B7T9?

You can update to G7P9 or crossflash to B7P9 or B7T9. When you flash, do it in safe mode, and avoid any risks of not so good flash. |
