BenQ / Philips Writer Discuss, Ricohjpn R01 and R02 Discs at CD, DVD and Blu-ray Writers forum; I use Ricoh discs almost exclusively. With my 1620 I burn R01's @8x and R02's @12x. Has anyone found a fw that does a good job with this media? I've looked through several threads but not found an answer.

I think they all do a good job. Try T and V.

I've gone back & forth between V, U and P without being satisfied with the scans. I'll try T and see if it helps...

    Well, I flashed to T and burned a R01 @8x and a R02 @12x.
Both scans are better than I had been getting so I'll try it for a while.
I had tried it some time ago but not for very long for some reason.

    Thanks Hef
