| Hi, yesterday I went to my local store to buy some double layer media. The only media available were the Ricoh DVD+R DL. Because I never had problems with Ricoh media I didn't hesitate and bought 20 of them. When I arrived at home I tried to burn them with my Benq 1620 Pro but with no success. I was really surprised because Benq supports the Ricoh media since B7T9 firmware. Everytime the burning process failed right at the beginning or when it comes to the layer break. I tried several programs and firmwares but it didn't make a difference. I already tried: Ricoh DVD+R DL (Media Code: RICOHJPND00). Firmwares: B7T9 B7U9 B7V9 Software: Nero 6.6.0.1.3 Dvddecr*pter CopyToDVD I can burn single media up to 16x and Verbatim DL media up to 4x without any problems. Do you have some advice for me?? Can somebody confirm these problems?? cu samson |

| LG drives seems to support Ricoh DVD+R DL well. But other brands seems to have problem... Part of my wish list for BenQ 1620 (sticky post). BenQ 1620 only copes well verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4X. |
