drpino; I have checked box burn image flie but still when I go to create disk data and try to burn an ISO file in image burn the file (ISO movie file) will not be opened. Could you explain after you check the burn image file box then what are the other steps to burn an image file to prevent wasting a disk. Thanks

TCAS, when i have that option checked and i "Create Data Disc" a dialog box opens and i navigate to where my ISO file is that i want to burn...everything works fine with no other steps for me...perhaps it's a corrupt ISO file...have you tried different ones?

Yes I just ripped a DVD Video by DVD Decryter in ISO file in my hard drive but when I go to create data disk in CDSpeed a diaglog box opens but ISO movie file will not open. The pic shows file in rng but iso also is the same.

as kwkard said, it won't show up if the file type is set to only show .NRG...need to choose .ISO...

hmm, maybe Erik Deppe can make the default ISO instead of .NRG...hmmm

Hard to believe that. CD-DVD Speed is a "Nero" application after all.

Not a big deal if it shows NRG or ISO per default, as I see it...

drpino; When I tried to burn ISO file by burn image function of CDSpeed the file (DVD Video in ISO formate) was acually written on the disk and the disk is no longer rewritable, is that what suppose to be?. I thought when you use burn image function the disk is not being written and can be use again?.

Then this process is not saving a disk anyhow what are the differences between burning an image ISO or creating data disk? In both case you are wasting a disk, of course you can argue that you make disk from data, game or a movie that can be used versus created data disk but still in both case you are using and wasting a disk.

having a disk with something that you want on it (e.g. movie, game, data) is better than having a disc with random .bin files and useless folders on it that is of absolutely no use after scanning...this is widely considered not wasting a disc...

many people use CD Speed in order to see/show the write curve...but being able to write an image file and still see the write curve is desireable by many...it's the same as if you used Burning ROM or Decrypter to burn what you want to burn...but you can see the write curve...

someone help me out here...did i miss part of this conversation? you're just not making much sense to me TCAS...sorry...

I agree with you drpino.

It's a nonsense waste a disc to write only random data; better to use to write a real disc. I don't post any scan right now only because I don't have anything to burn, but when I'll find something I'll post surely.

As you can see from the following attachment the Nero CDSpeed at create Data Disc is fails to recognized the ISO file (burned DVD Video). So what you have to say. The DVD Video is being burned by DVD Decrypter as ISO file and is in MovieFile-A but CD Speed can't recognize it why I don't know. Note the "Burn Image File" box the CD Speed has been checked.

Are you sure it's in .iso and not .img file format...

I believe you are looking in "right" folder, are you.

BTW, can't see what Nero CD-DVD Speed v.4.10 has to do with QSuite2.1...

Yes and then just click on Create Data disc and it should prompt you for the file you want to burn. You probably figured that out as well.

Yes I know is ISO file since I burned with Decrypter in ISO format.

What you mean by right folder.

May be you don't have the background, we were discussing QSuite function on this thread and question was when we do testing instead having created Data Disc and then wasted how we could burned :Image file" in ISO format to use the disc also in burning your own data, game and video and not to wasted.

If you don't have the patient to understand problem being discussed in the thread then don't bother to answer the question in aggravated way, after all these forums are also exchange of ideas and fun let’s keep it that way. Thanks

But the problem is the ISO file that have been ripped by Decrypter is not being recognized by CDSpeed Create Data Disc function.
