| TDK-branded YUDEN000T02 TDK 8X +R YUDEN000T02 http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=169998 DVD-Video, Nero 6.6.0.18, @12X SB ON for known media / WOPC ON I'm 99% sure that I would get even better PIF figures with WOPC OFF with these discs. Will try that with my next burn.

In any case, I installed Windows 2000 on another drive, and here are the results. Both discs burned at 12x using Imgburn. SB, WOPC, OS on. Am happy again Looks like it was the Starforce infestation that caused havoc before, don't you think?Scanned on my Lite-On with KProbe. I'll stick with this since Nero CD-DVD Speed screenshots take up more storage space and add to the server load. Last edited by alexanderino; 12-03-2006 at 03:18. | |

| Re: Post your BenQ DW1650 SL scans here Freak-show: 400% (8X) and 600% (12X) overspeed of old 2X rated media with the 1650! Incredible. Makes me having second thoughts about what the media industry/market wants us to believe, concerning media technology/quality and rated speeds. These are 4-years old blanks!

| Re: Post your BenQ DW1650 SL scans here Hi After scanning without drop offs from some time, I suddenly got this. At the same time QSuite was suddenly showing no learned memory, when earlier had showed 3 (MCC 03RG20/MCC 004/Ritek G05 ). |

| Re: Post your BenQ DW1650 SL scans here Hi For those who saw my previous post & have been concerned that this could happen to them. I've cured my problem by crossflashing to a Philips 1660 & back again. Not only have drop offs gone but learned memory is working too. Scan done less than a few minutes ago of disc written earlier this w/e. |
