You scanned at maximum speed that's probably why. Scan at 8x

As you can see from the green read speed line, Benq drives scan at 8x when maximum speed is selected in cdspeed. Anyway, to avoid this confusion, scan at 8x next time.

Bought the 1640 yesterday. It came with the BSHB fw. I flashed it back to BSGB and try writing RICOHJPNR01 at 8X as well as using MCSE to switch to R02 write strategy.

1. RICOHJPNR01 @8X, Memorex brand
2. RICOHJPNR01@R02, @8X, Memorex brand
3. RICOHJPNR01@R02, @8X, Imation brand

I am surprised to have such a good quality score with such high PIs
TTG02 sold under TDK 8x DVD-R burned at 8x
This is my first DVD-R burn with this drive.
Full dvd containing videos and hundreds of pictures. Burned with a P2P software was running, I am not sure if that could have affected the resukts.

I don't think I have ever seen a benq/phillips scan with max PIF of 1. Very, very nice!

Fuji YUDEN000T02, 8x. WOPC on.

So close to being my first 99 scan. Stupid peak right at the end. I'm pretty happy with a 98 though! and such.
