Ok, here it is. I flashed it back to 1620 as B7T9, but I doubt that would have made any difference.

My third burn of this Fuji media. burning speed 8X, Nero 6.6.0.1. What do you guys think, should I rma my drive or sent the Fuji media back?. Don't you think it's a shame to have a spike like that at 1 GB, Look at the PI failures, 17 PI failures is this acceptable

17 total PIF is one of the lowest I've seen. That was an excellent burn.

I don't know if these are real taiyo udens or fake, i'm guessing fake because they were so cheap and unbranded. A spindle of 25 cost me 11 dollars canadian.

All in all - not too bad. What speed was it burned at?

And where did you buy the media ?

Well, I bought it at canadacomputers.com. They are selling it as generic unbranded -R8X media (inkjet printable). It shows it as burning at 16X in nero but I have this registery hack in nero that shows the actual speed, and it didn't go above 11.7, so I guess you could say it burned at 12X.

Thanks for the feedback.

Since all of the errors seem to be occurring near the end of the burn, I wonder what it would look like if you burned it at either 8X or maybe even explicitely limited it to 12X ?

If this is a movie, does it play (particularly at the end) without pausing?

Yes, this is a movie, and it seems to play fine on both of my dvd players, apex and pioneer.

Memorex DVD+R CMC MAG E01 8x burned @ 8X, BenQ DW1620 B7T9.

I don't understand the peak at the end of the disc as it is written @ 8X only, so there is no speed increase there... not that good disc I think...

@eleewhm, hi, I would like to know your opinion on which firmware you think gives the best quality writing results between B7P9, B7S9, and B7T9, regardless of the speed.
