| PHILLIPS DVD-8801 says all disks are blank..? Howdy, long time lurker! I have the Phillips 8801 DVD burner and every time I put in any type of CD (music,data, game, burned, etc) it recognizes it as blank. I've updated the firmware and drivers are the latest versions...any idea what's going on? thanks for any help! Mike |

Uninstall anything burning related (also virtual drive programs), delete the IDE Channel in Device Manager, look into deleting lower/upper filters from the registry. Hard to tell what it is specifically from a distance, if you want to keep it simple do a clean install of Windows. Welcome to the Forums. |
