BenQ / Philips Writer Discuss, Cross Flashing at CD and DVD Writers forum; Hi, first post. I've read on TDB site that the HP DVD Writer 300c is a OEM BENQ DW400A, If I've understood it right. If I have can I crossflash the HP to BenQ ? Cheers.

I think so... it has to be done in DOS mode so be careful... talk to The Dangerous Brothers about it...

Tried that first didn't work, BQFlasher doesn't find the firmware in the DW400a exe file. Can't find a CVT for it.
