@Psh - that isn't too terrible, should be a playable disc if nothing else at least. I still don't like the bit of a high spike at the end of the disc even with as it does, at the very end, pass that acceptable range. I'd potentially try one of the Ritek strategies on this media and see if that works better. Also if they have a Philips strategy for DVD-R I'd potentially give that a go, just a suggestion of course. Good luck!

That looks good but it wasn't even a 3gb burn. To really check the quality you need to get as close to a full disc as possible.

I should learn to leave well enough alone but since we are in the BenQ forum after all why would I bother to do that? Here's my next attempt:

(Also note: I attempted these discs at 16x and while the disc burned successfully the WOPC kicked in for full effect and burned them at 4x with no write-strategy apparently although the WOPC did recover the disc and actually burned a good "test" disc.) I'll have a CMC MAG F01 tomorrow with a modified write strategy to see if 12x is possible with good results with those discs as well.

Brand: Intenso
Type: DVD+R 4x rated

Burn strategy used: CMC MAG M01

how do you guys exactly change burn strategy for a specific media.
I'm trying to burn Ritek G04 using the MCC 02RG20 strategy.
What I did is:

1) I selected Ritek G04 from the list.
2) I renamed Ritek G04 to MCC 02RG20 in the 'Media Name' box, then set!
3) Saved the new B7T9fw patched.

Did I do it correctly?
I mean I don't have Ritek G04 on the list anymore after I renamed it, so how will it handle the media if there's no ritekg04 strategy once I instert the disc.

Braxas, there is no Optodisc R04 on the list, how did you use Philips strategy for it?
is it possible to add strategies aside from just changing it?

Thanks for any help!!!!!

Anyone has a good strategy for TY G01 without using the G02's ?
And for Verbatim 01RG20 ? 6X or 8X with 02RG20 strategy give poor results.

Thanks
