Please Help: BenQ CdRw Drive keeps disapearing!!

I have a BenQ Cdrw Drive installed. The red and green lights on the front of the drive are constantly flashing. The yellow CPU light also flashes in unison to the lights on the CdRw drive. | First-time poster and I sure hope you all can help. Operating WinXp. I have a BenQ Cdrw Drive installed. The red and green lights on the front of the drive are constantly flashing. The yellow CPU light also flashes in unison to the lights on the CdRw drive. I disconnected the drive from the motherboard, restarted the system, shut it down...reconnected and restarted. Worked fine until I restarted my system again...then the lights started blinking again. I am so frustrated right now. Please help! If I can add any more info, please ask. Thanks!! |
