benq 1640 cannot read disc burned by itself

BenQ / Philips Writer Discuss, benq 1640 cannot read disc burned by itself at CD and DVD Writers forum; hello,everyone, My benq 1640 cao't read DVD disc burned by itself, for CD, it's ok. Also ,it can read the disc burned by other DVD burner, such as NEC's. What's wrong with it? thanks a lot!

Can it read pressed cds and dvds?

EDIT: Also, are you using the same type of disc for the BenQ as the NEC?

Yes, it can read them all, and I usedthe same disc .
I tried other firmware versions from the oldest BSGB to BSRB, but the problem is the same.

What's the MID of discs you drive can't read?
Use DVD Identifier.

Hopefully in the near future they will update DVD Identifier

They did make it a U3 app which comes in handy for me when traveling with my SanDisk thumb drive
