Well, I have a problem with the GSA-2164D burner not detecting DL discs. The burner can read and burn other DVD discs. I have the latest firmware (v1.01). So, can you please help? Thanks a lot.

Have you tried some verbatim +r dl 2.4x because i dont think that your drive will support the most newer media (8x).

Thanks for replying. Well, in the description and reviews it is said to support 8x +R DL disks. I have tried both 4x and 8x. It just does not detect them. I could not find the Verbatim 2.4x disks anywhere.
