Ok, but i still think that this is a horrible result from good quality media,
maybe a TRT could prove that this was as bad as it looked.

ps: I would like to think that this was a bad disc.

Disappointing.

Scan flakes out at 3.5gb with every Ricoh disc I've tried so far at 16x. Hopefully this is a firmware issue that can be resolved.

Seems a firmware strategy issue with Ricoh - RitekR05 strategy seems fine at 16x. A strat swap to R05 may fix the Ricoh issue.
