LG GH20NS10 crossflashing to LG GE20LU10 Howto?

LG Writer Discuss, LG GH20NS10 crossflashing to LG GE20LU10 Howto? at CD, DVD and Blu-ray Writers forum; I've crossflashed this drive a couple of years before but I've forgotten how to do. Please help. My newest MediaCodeSpeedEdit is 1.2.0.10.

    Why do want to do this?
    LU means Lightscribe, which requires LS hardware to work.

    If I remember correctly, then the drive needed to be thrown into a "safe mode" by flashus interruptus.

    Sorry, no idea. I haven't attempted to crossflash my LG drives since I don't see a benefit from that. YMMV.

    Crossflashing with MediaCodeSpeedEdit is possible.

    Flash first FW Fe05 from LG GE20LU10 (Option Crossflashing Current Drive ID GH20NS10) and afterwards "normal" updating FW Fe06 to the "new Drive" LG GE20LU10.
