A little disappointed on that burn made with CopyToDVD @16x.
Scanned with both 203B and Liteon.

I get the same results using 203B so it could be a poor media issue. TY poor?

Maybe it's only the media. In my opinion if it's Verbatim or TY it's not necessarily to have excellent quality. That because of different quality batch. I think it's not easy to find very good quality disc like 2601's
At least here in Sibiu it's not easy to find TY, for example

I have never had problems with TY. And I think +R are better than -R.
I don't know why. I know they are always giving me better results.

I think ... generally LG (Renesas or Panasonic) likes +R more than -R

The jitter is no good. Is one of the factors that could indicate playback problems.

The DH-20A3 drives report DC jitter, which is usually higher & a bit more erratic than the jitter reported by other drives.

I have to admit I never really liked the way LG seems to use very aggressive OPC, to the point where you get these jumps in jitter and visible rings on the burn surface. But it does work most of the time and is really fast. Like a race car, built for speed without compromise.

Question- I am having trouble installing a LG GSA-HSSN internal DVD Rewriter into a HP a6260a Desktop. The LG burner has power and is set on master but the driver software cannot detect the LG burner??
Can anyone help?

Physically, how does this drive compare to a Lite-On LH-20A1L or a LG GSA-H62N? I'm looking for a very short DVD burner for my small-form-factor PC.
