Business insider: Windows 8 Is For Touch Screens. Period.

Business insider journalist Matt Rosoff has taken a look at Windows 8 and came to the conclusion that it works much better on tablets then on laptop or desktop computers. Probably everyone who has installed the Windows 8 consumer preview will have to get acquainted with the Metro GUI, but Matt concludes that it works much better on a tablet. He calls Windows 8 (using Metro) on a laptop 'an exercise in frustration'.  While on tablets there was still a bit of training required, most of the GUI worked intuitive for him, even a bit fun.

According to Matt, Microsoft is going to have a hard time to sell Windows 8 on laptops and desktops, but he thinks there is a group of people who will love Windows 8 on laptops, those who spend large parts of the day using Office applications. The rest of us will probably just stick to Window 7...
