| Ok,I cannot find the firmware for this drive anywhere. It was part of an HP XW8400 but when I try to run the firmware I find on the HP site it says my PC is not configured for this drive. When I try to burn Ridata DVD's I can only burn at 4X, other media (Verbatim) burns at 16X. My colleague has the same drive and it is able to burn the same Ridata media that I have at 16X and he claims he didn't do anything special. Does anyone know what I can flash this with? |

| Welcome to cdfreaks  Did you try the HP GSA-H21L L702 firmware ? What is the media code of your Ridata disk ? Use DVD Identifier to produce a report about the media or use nero cdspeed's disc info tab.
