LG Writer Discuss, HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GSA-H55N problem !!!!! at CD and DVD Writers forum; Hi.I have problem with HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GSA-H55N.He burns really slow and copys from disc really slow,too.I need to instal an game on 1 DVD one hour.With old i needed 10 - 15 minutes.Plzz can u help me.I instaled new firmeware 1.5 but it dont solved problem

Sounds like a DMA problem. Go to the link in my signature ("How to check/enable DMA"), and follow the instructions for your operating System

Duh...dont helped .But i remember i changed some regio info to yugoslavia to i can play dvd movie.Can this be problem ?

1.Try to use another ide cable.
2.Insert a burned disc and run nero cd/dvd speed (transfer rate and brust rate)
3.Youo can use MCSE to make the drive faster, but i would try the nero cd/dvd speed first.
