Hi, i wanted to know that with this drive, will i be able to change the booktype when burning DVD+R Dual layer to DVD-ROM.

I know i can change the booktype with ImgBurn, but the thing is, will this drive come under LG? Please reply, any help appreciated. Thanks

Yes, it'll come under LG.

If you're burning with ImgBurn then it'll do it automatically anyway.

Ok, thank you. Once i put the dvd+r dual layer in, i went to change booktype, then LG and changed the dvd+r dl to dvd rom. However it still shows up as dvd+r dl. You can see this from below.

Is there any other way of changing the booktype?

That's an empty disc. The booktype magic happens when you actually burn the thing.
