Need help on where to find a driver for a dvd burner

dvd burner model HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4163B

I have a powermate ml7 series n80001 computer that has literally just had its warranty expire and now its telling me the driver is corrupted for the dvd/cd burner.

Does anyone know where i can download a driver that will replace the corrupted one? I have a cd with drivers on but its not much use if the drive is buggered!

A driver is not needed. All drives work with a standard
Which app tells you that the driver is corrupted?
Try to reinstall Nero.
And, by the way, don't mix up driver with firmware! The firmware is a piece of software on a chip in the drive. If the firmware is corrupted the drive wouldn't work at all.
