| Hello  I'm new around here. I have a problem. I've had this TDK DVD-RW disk that my boyfriend's laptop's DVD writer drive has busted somehow. When I put it in my LG DVD Writer drive on my desktop computer, it detects it as being empty and with 0 bytes disk space available. I can't erase it either quickly or fully as I get "the disk in the drive is not rewritable" by nero and DVDinfo just won't erase it. Is there anything I can do to revive the disk or can I just chuck it in the bin ? I've tried erasing it on a MacBook laptop and still nothing... Thanks |

| On the computer that it was originally written, yes it was finalized with Nero Burning ROM (burned a DVD image to the disk). I doubt that there was anything software-related because that drive that it was burned on, seems to have problems with any DVD that it burns. After completing the burn process, I re-inserted the disk in the same drive and it wasn't reading it. |
