| here are some LG GSA-4163B A104 scans and one with A106. afterwards I've learned that nero cd-dvd speed's quality scans made by Philips SPD2400 should be at 8x, so here are 8x scans of the media that has been scanned at the burn speed before!! burner LG GSA-4163B A104 Magic DVD-R 8x CMC MAG. | A couple of recent burns of TYG03 [Sony-branded]. This drive does them better than any other drive I have.

| here are some burns with MCSE v1.0.8.14 "increase read speed" patched A106 firmware. Although Verbatim's pie sum is very high, pif graph is nearly excellent, that's my new record, 100- pif sum and < 8 min. burning time!! @ karangguni thanks for the answer!! UDMA 2 is available and set for 4163B. perhaps the dirve writes at 6x but showing that it writes at 8x. maybe you are right for the media (i.e Verbatim's burn). |
