Time Search unavailable on 5005

Streaming Media Players and Standalone Players/Recorders Discuss, Time Search unavailable on 5005 at Home Entertainment forum; I do not have the option to do a Time Search on DVDs previously recorded by the 5005. I am using the patched US LNFA1098.ESU.0102.184x firmware upgrade without region code and microvision. I would like to know if anyone else is experiencing this on their unit or if available, what

    no,me neither.it's always 'greyed' out.Don't think it's a fault,just not applicable to this model.

    I don't think it's not applicable to this model, because the manual mentions this function, and there should be a reason for it to show on the menu. I mean, why have it 'greyed' out? Why not don't show it at all?
