Resident Evil 2 Apocalypse DVD

ok I installed the beta version of AnyDVD and I was able to rip Resident evil apocalypse with no problem whatsoever using CloneDVD2

Can you please check, if it is possible to drag the VIDEO_TS folder from the original RE2 disc to your harddisc?

If all works correctly, you should not receive error messages (AnyDVD must be enabled, the option "Protection based on unreadable Sectors" must be enabled, too)

I assume, the reported error "DVDManager 5 4" from CloneDVD is gone now?

Did anyone test other copy software (DVDShrink, DVD2One, ...)?

i just tried it with dvd2one and it hangs at 49% and gives me the error (error adjusting the IFO file. it dose not match with the VOB file) for full disk copy you need to copy the files from the dvd in file mode

I was able to make a complete backup useing VobBlanker v1603 using default settings and DVD2One to compress to fit DVD-R works perfectly. RE was regoin 1.VobBlanker VobBlanker can be found here and is a free program can't beat free

I did,nt get a chance to try to drag the VIDEO_TS folder but YES, the error from CloneDVD is now gone. I did,nt try any other software since the anydvd Beta update, but before it's release dvdshrink, DVDsanta, Intervideo DVD Copy3 & Decrypter would not touch the disc. Super DVD Copy 2.0 did however get past the Arcoss protection and copied the files over to my HD but when I used CloneDVD to re-author it, I had a 45-second black screen at the beginning. Since the Beta release, I copied both WS & FS versions off the original using CloneDVD with no problems at all.

on any dvd 4.3.0.1 must you check this setting before ripping: copy protection based on unreadable sectors: if not should this be set for reseident evil 2? I use nero record or any dvd or dvd 2 one or colone dvd to rip and if i try new beta for anydvd should above setting be used.

Ripped it with VobBlanker without any trouble at all. (DVD Decrypter hung up)

Used DVDShrink to select Full or Wide screen version.

Burned at 1x with CloneDVD on a Memorex DVD-R. (Anyone burned it faster?)

Popped it in a Pioneer DVD player and so far so good.

Useing VobBlanker I burned mine at 4x useing nero and dvd2one. Not taking anything away from Olli as I used CloneCD up untill the point that Slysoft took over. I feel that the software was more inovative when Olli was the controlling source.

anydvd 4.4.0.0 beta also had no problem backing up Little Black Book ...using clonedvd2 of course .

I cannot get to the sight above to check the testing for anytimedvd. I am currently using dvd x copy plat and resident evil would stop 6 seconds into burning not writing . I then added anytimedvd, left all checks green in feature removal. However I am still getting no luck even in the platinum mode at 49% burned

Try downloading the beta version of any dvd and the dvd clone 2 this worked fine when I copied the movie re2

I found where the problem in cipying can be fixed easily w/out extra downloads(for me). after working at it for 2 days in every program i kno, finally a shred of light. first off, superdvd will copy but!... limited options. if you are like me and have your own transcoder you like with your own settings, and don't wan't it auto-ripped to svcd or avi a simple fix has become apparent. Use smartRipper 2.41 or higher (i know, it's smartripper, hah!) actually, any ripper that allows you to select PGCs (program chains). look at vts 2_1...chapters 2->x have 1 pgc, chapter one has 11! that made me think, and when i do that im bound to come up w/something. pgcs 1->10 on chapter 1 are useless/logos. simply uncheck pgcs 1->10 and rip, no problems! it makes since to...as the mastering i/o error couldn't be placed in the movie itself, so the beginning works, as most dvd-rip softs don't give the option to select/deselect pgcs. well, hope i helped.

i tried using super dvd copy and dvd shrink to get a copy but i had no luck. super dvd copy sucessfully copied the movie to my hard disk, but when i tried to shrink it it got an error saying that it couldent find a specafied file.
