To make it easier for people who tune into the forum for new version updates, I think it'll be a good idea for people to make a post in this thread to announce new updates.

This way, people can just subscribe to this thread and be notified whenever a new AnyDVD update comes out.

This thread should be for announcements of new updates only.
Do not discuss new updates in this thread.

Posts are subject to deletion without notice if they do not follow this guideline. Ideally, each announcement should have:
- AnyDVD update version
- a download link
- changelog (if any)
- a link to the discussion thread

AnyDVD-HD 6.1.2.0 beta (It will also update your AnyDVD to 6.1.2.0)
Released 12 Feb 2007

Credit to James here.

You have to reboot after the installation.

This version fixes a bug which prevents OpenSeason R2 (UK & Netherlands) to rip correctly. As always, there are many other small fixes and improvements.
Additionally, it supports decrypting and "on the fly remastering" of HD DVD discs:

- New: Added support for new versions of the SONY Arccos protection to the option to remove "Protection based on unreadable Sectors"
- New: Added HD DVD and AACS support. (Registered users need an upgrade key, currently only available to registered beta testers)
- Fix: Problem with multi-angle titles and Sony Arccos protection
- Some minor fixes and improvements

- New (DVD): Added support new versions for the "Protect DVD-Video" copy
protection to the option to remove "Protection based on unreadable Sectors"
Examples: "Wer früher stirbt..." and "Perfume", both R2, German
- Note: With the help of AnyDVD, discs protected with "Protect DVD-Video"
can now be played on Windows MCE 2005, with Windows Media player or
Zoom Player. WITHOUT ANYDVD RUNNING, THESE DISCS CANNOT BE PLAYED!
Shame on the makers of this really bad protection.
They don't do their customers a favour, if they cannot watch the
original disc!
We really hope that they get these discs slapped in their faces by
their (ex)customers.
- Fix (HD DVD): Discs with volume labels ending with a blank character
could not be decrypted
Example: "Nine Inch Nails Live: Beside You In Time", US
- Fix (HD DVD): Discs without iHD menus did not work
Example: "Heart - Alive in Seattle" (US & Japan)
- Fix (Blu-ray): Files with non consecutive sections were not decrypted
correctly. Example: Many Blu-ray discs like "Prestige" (US)
- Some minor fixes and improvements
- Updated languages

- New (HD DVD & Blu-ray): Support for new version of AACS
- New: AnyDVD ripper displays the volume label of the discs
- New: AnyDVD ripper and AnyDVD HD ripper are now unified
- New: AnyDVD ripper warns, if destination directory is not empty
- New: AnyDVD ripper creates destination directory, if it doesn't exist
- New (HD DVD & Blu-ray): Support for new titles
- New (HD DVD): Workaround for mastering error on "Relentless Enemies"
- New (HD DVD & Blu-ray): Added warning dialog, if HD DVD or Blu-ray
processing did not work
- New (HD DVD & Blu-ray): Added workaround for "eject" bug in Sonic DLA
- New: Added timeout to prevent hang on exit in some situations
- Fix (DVD): AnyDVD ripper did not work correctly with multiple angles.
If you want more control (stream selection, main movie only
selection, ...) we recommend to use CloneDVD2 available at
http://www.slysoft.com instead of AnyDVD ripper.
- Fix (DVD): Sony Arccos Decryption bug introduced in 6.1.4.3, sorry
- Some minor fixes and improvements
- Updated languages

Some titles did not playback correctly (black screen).
