anyone having luck with backing up inside man?

I had no problems. AnyDVD/ CloneDVD.

If you don't own clonedvd try this.

Use VOB Blanker with anydvd then process the files after that through dvd shrink and burn all is good.

Yes, all good, no sweat...

I couldn't back it up either
until I used AD 6045 and Cdvd 28.9.11

Else do what the good doctor above says
and take 2 aspirins and post back in the AM

I used anydvd and clonedvd from www.slysoft.com with NO problems.

What is the AnyDVD info for Inside Man?

This is the info for R1 disc:

Emulating RPC-2 drive with region 1!

I made a full disc back up using AnyDVD 6.0.4.5 & Nero Recode 2 without any problems.

I just finished backing up my copy with no problems using CloneDVD2 2.8.9.9 and AnyDVD 6.0.4.5.

No problem using the latest AnyDVD and Clone dvd2.
What are you using. and what settings.

I had absolutely no problems with 'Inside Man' using AnyDVD 6.0.4.2 and DVD Shrink! Movie and Subtitles only.

When I analyzed thru Shrink I did notice the 'jumping boy' as was in King Kong under the unreferenced extras. No problems for me though since I did not keep any extras or unreferenced material.

Had zero trouble with this one

With AnyDVD , this one shouldn't give you any trouble .

"Inside Man" [R1 Widescreen] backed up perfectly using AnyDVD 6.0.4.5 and CloneDVD 2.8.9.9.

no probs here either.i ripped it with dvddecrypter and ripit4me processed it fixvts shrink and burned with imgburn.all freeware.

Use DVDFAB I did it last night it is free for 30 days.

Ripit4me...ripped it for me.

Why should he, if he already has AnyDVD which does work?

Considering the original poster hasn't came back to this thread we can assume that it was already backed up. Why offer help on a thread that is a week old?

Is it wrong that people try different alternatives and try other means of ripping and copping, may be this is unacceptable to SS and it's clans.

First, all he would need is DVDFab Decrypter or RipIt4Me which are both free. DVDFab Express/Gold/Platinum is commercial software that also will allow you to "shrink" or split a DVD9 onto 2 DVD 5s. I assume this is what you are referring to when you recommend the use of a trial version.

Dr. Who has a point. The question asked if anyone has successfully backed up "Inside Man", and this was posted in the AnyDVD forum. Presumably the author of this thread wanted to know if the movie would backup with the latest version of AnyDVD. If not, he posted the question in the wrong forum.

Dr Who has no point!!! Anydvd is only a small part of the jigsaw. There're other software out there that's more than capable of achieving the same goal.

AnyDVD 6.0.4.5 clearly has the ability to transparently remove copy protection from "Inside Man" [R1] and allow for a perfect backup using any number of ripping programs. Many users, including myself have already stated that AnyDVD has successfully allowed us to backup this title. If users were having trouble using AnyDVD then it would be useful to suggest alternatives. But, as this is not the case, and we are currently in the AnyDVD forum, discussion of alternatives is unnecessary and offtopic.

If there are more softwares available, then give the person asking the question a link(s) to it and get it out of the AnyDVD forum....

My point originally was why offer help when the original poster hasn't returned for more? It's great everyone helps but read through the thread to see if more help is really needed. Just my opinion not everyones.
