desprately need help

im trying to make a playable copy of the sims 2 masion and gardens stuff. the disc says its dvd rom i have dvd-r. i went thru about 4 of them now and 3 said afetr burning the iso image that please insert the original disk error 1000. i looked up the meaning and they said its a secru disk or something so i downloaded a120%. tried again and it says the direct x9 is missing or something i redownloaded it and still the same. sorry to write a book but i knoew this is way easyer than im making it. please help me any questions just ask and ill try to answer ive tried about everything dpm speed at lowest and disk write to lowest and nothing my drive has a dvd ram pics on it as well as the rw dvd +rdl and compac disk rewrite. no idea what the diff is and everything. if anyone has ever made a copy that can be used as a original backup plz forward me the program used along with detailed instructions thank you

Welcome to the Forum. While I don't know much about the Sims or AnyDVD for that matter, I do know that if you use a title that describes your need or problem you will get more meaningful answers.
