Blades of Glory

Anyone try to backup blades of glory DVD? I get "trying to repair defective DVD structure" using CloneDVD and AnyDVD". Bypassing the message lets you go ahead and copy the files but fails at 98%?

What shows the ANYDVD-STATUS window?
Last versions of the programs?

Latest versions of both Anydvd and CloneDVD. AnyDVD looks like it is doing it's job but I think cloneDVD is the problem because I just made a backup using DVDFab + AnDVD and It worked. Anyone trying to do Blades of Glory, try DVDFab + AnyDVD, CloneDVD doesn't seem to work with Blades of Glory yet

Please don't use anydvd with dvdfab, as it can cause conflicts.
Anyway new versions of anydvd and clonedvd have been released. try to see the result.

I didn't realize you don't need anydvd with DVDfab. It was the first time I tried DVDfab, which seems to work pretty well so far.

Wasn't the warning dialog shown to you?
Anyway, if the new anydvd and clonedvd versions won't work either, I suggest you to disable anydvd, copy the ifo files to your harddisk, zip them and seem them with as much description as possible to support(at)slysoft.com (replace at with @).

I got it to work but I had to use DVDfab. I didn't have any problems with anydvd running but I will make sure it is off.

Did you download anydvd 6.1.7.0 and clonedvd 2.9.1.2? Does it still not work? if it doesn't please send the ifos as described in my above post.

Is this a Columbia Pictures (Sony)? It happened to me a while back too Saw2 and Open season but Saw2 I only can back up movie only didn't matter method I used for CloneDVD2. But for Openson I unchecked last 3-4 cells in CloneDVD2 and it work. But I'm not sure about this one. Give it a shot and let us know.

DVDFAB worked perfectly for me.. easy

Copied Blades Of Glory UK Region 2 using latest AnyDvd 6170 and CloneDvd 2912 no problems.

Blades of Glory WS US version. I couldn't get it work either with AnyDVD+ CloneDVD or AnyDVD+Nero7 Recode. 1st cell is a main movie and it doesn't want to even read period. 2nd cell seems to me it's a main movie also but it's about 6 mins lesser than 1st cell. 2nd cell got stuck where the end credit is. 3rd cell is also got stuck at the end credit. Error msg 'Cyclic Redundancy Check error' I'm sure disc wasn't scratched . Any how I used Abelp's method and it worked. So it wasn't 'Cyclic Redundancy Check error'. Good thing I kept my DVD Decrypter.

dvdfab worked for me.

I have DVDFab freeware one , it got stuck at VIDEO_TS_8_1 . I switched all my drives to read and it's all same resault. But I already had it done with Abelp's method

i backed it up on my hard drive using dvdfab then used dvd clone to burn it on a dvd. Had no problems.

I was trying to do the same thing because I saw this thread before I got a movie so I know there is a problem. But like I said it got stuck at 8_1

I am getting the same thing on the US release Wide screen. using CloneDVD2 2.9.1.2 and anyDVD 6.1.7.0 the final error comes up as.

Is this AnyDVD or CloneDVD2 issue? Because Ablep's method worked with AnyDVD's running but it didn't work with CloneDVD nor Nero Recode.
