were not handled correctly (e.g., special features in "Mirrormask",
Germany)
- Fix: Bug introduced in 6.1.0.7, disc recognition did not work
correctly
- Fix: Bug introduced in 6.1.0.7, driver could switch into safe mode
without reason

I am recording Saw III the whole disc as we speak. So far it's working but very slowly. Using AnyDVD and CloneDVD 6113, and 2903 respectively. It's about half done and has taken 17 min so far to burn files to hard drive.

The Saw III fix hasn't been implemented?

I just finished my full disc and it ripped and burned at normal speeds. Perfect. AnyDVD 6.1.1.3 & CloneDVD2 2.9.0.3.
I am merging both AnyDVD 6.1.1.3 threads.

It has with CloneDVD2 V2.9.0.3. I have not tried other programs as of yet.

It will also rip full disc with Nero Recode but not with DVD Shrink or 1 Click 4.2.9.13.
I am wondering myself what those two programs do differently than those that couldn't. Especially considering that Recode is basically Shrink.

I'm guessing that James just couldn't fix it yet to work with Shrink, 1Click, and 1Click Pro. Or possibly may have decided not to.

I still haven't got the original disc. If I have it, I'll look at the problem if I have a minute to spare, as I am currently working full time on AnyDVD HD (which will be really, really awsome!!!! ).

My general advice for such problematic discs: Use elby CloneDVD2 to rip it, use Shrink on the files processed by CloneDVD. If you do this, you can use CloneDVD's nice title selection feature with Shrink's transcoder. You'll get the best from both worlds.

Since I'm the biggest James fan on the forum, I get the first copy of it before it's released to the public.

How about Clonecd for those (like me) who prefer to preserve the original layer break position? Will Anydvd 6.1.1.3 work with Clonecd and Saw 3 now? I would imagine it does (at least, in theory).

I can't try at the moment, but I guess it works fine now.

Thank you James, the crew of AnyDVD and all the people who helped with other solutions for Saw 3.

I have just finished wayching every minute of SAWIII from the first Preview to the last ending. Not one flaw. AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 work flawlessly with this title now. I will try other programs.
