TYG03 on PIONEER 110-D

I've had good results with TYG02 @12X on the 110-D but have been disappointed with my results, so far, with TYG03.
Has anyone burned this media with low PIF's?
This is about as good a scan as I've gotten and had to burn at 12X to get this result. Interestingly, things seemed to settle down when the burn reached 12X.
Any comments?

Re: TYG03 on PIONEER 110-D

A lot of people have better luck with TYG02 @ 12x than with TYG03 @ 12-16x (including me, different writer). The reason may be that TYG03 just hasn't been out as long. Some people have had good luck subbing the TYG02 write strat for the TYG03 in the writer's firmware. Not sure if that's possible with the 110d.
Other than that, you can expect it to improve with a firmware update. Pioneer definately gives preference to Japanese media.

Thanks for your comments, Evan. I was hoping to find media that the 110-D actually liked to burn at 16X and thought the TYG03 might be the way to go but it really isn't with the current 1.17 firmware. At the moment the TYG02 is the better choice. At least in my experience.
