Questions about Pioneer DVR-112D and Firmware

Hi guys,
I just bought a Pioneer DVR-112D. The firmware in the drive is 1.09. As I read from the Pioneer Homepage, the lastest firmware is 1.15.
So should I upgrade to the new version? Is there anything better in the new firmware?
Also, I couldn't know which country did this drive come from. So is there any global firmware update to use?

Generally you should have no problem with any version of the Pioneer firmware; I would routinely get mine from AU. The drives are the same. The changes will add newer media and will improve burn strategies. I have read nothing about the newer version that indicates any problems. I would go for it. __________________
Still a few bugs in the system...
