Asus / Pioneer Writer Discuss, pionner 107 at CD and DVD Writers forum; hi ive just tried the 1.10 firmware patch for the 107 to make it burn 4x ritek go4's at 8x with no look any advice would be much appreciated......

What is your problem?

Do you have problem updating to the hacked firmware?

Are you unable to choose 8x speed?

Do it fial while writing? (if so - get better discs. few discs works good at 8x).

Unfortunately, scans done on a DVDROM drive aren't too usefull.
