I don't know what anyone else thinks but the pioneer 112D burns with very little pie

I bought a Pioneer 112D f/w 1.24 and flashed it to 112L f/w 8.06 and then 112L f/w 8.21.
What's the improvements with this f/w modification? Should i flash it to 8.25?

Sorry for this questions, maybe I didn't search well, but i can't found satisfatory answers...

Suggest looking at the Disk Quality Scan postings in this thread by Forum Members who have version 8.25 Firmware and make your own decision.

Mainly it gives your Pioneer the ability to burn DVD+R discs as DVD-ROM. It should have similar write strategies as the "other" f/w but I don't know the exact differences.

Perhaps it would have been prudent before CrossFlashing your DVR-112D to Buffalo DVR-112L v8.21 if you had asked that question.

DVR-112D provides DVD-RAM Read only and Book Type BitSetting DVD+R DL Media to DVD-ROM.

DVR-112L provides DVD-RAM Read and Write, Book Type BitSetting DVD+R SL and DL Media, and LabelFlash.
