Labelflash to Lightscribe on a DVR-111L

Asus / Pioneer Writer Discuss, Labelflash to Lightscribe on a DVR-111L at CD and DVD Writers forum; Stupid question, is the laser hardware the same for labelflash/lightscribe? The reason I ask is could it be possible to somehow modify the firmware on a DVR-111L to support Lightscribe?

It's a DVR-111C and your drive doesn't have this piece of hardware.

Not something you can create in firmware, so no.
