Re: Asus DRW-1814BLT woes...

Consulting boards manual might help, especially section's 2.26ff and 4.14ff.

Linky to manual in english.

I've the very same mobo in my old burning rig (nowdays a HTPC box), no sata opticals in that box though.

BTW, this isn't a topic for Optical Storage Tecnical Discussion forum section...

Re: Asus DRW-1814BLT woes...

Thanks for the feedback. Just further info, my mb have 2 pairs of SATA sockets. First pair are Sata 1 & Sata 2, 2nd pair are Sata_Raid 1 & Sata_Raid 2. I had connected to Sata 1 at first place because i'm not using Raid HDs. My IDE config under Enhanced Mode Support On (S-ATA). Up till now still no sight of the burner be it in bios or winxp.

Re: Asus DRW-1814BLT woes...

I had manage to get it detected by bios & win xp already. I only change the connection to sata 2 socket . Only buzz me is why sata 1 socket can't work. Btw Chef, i didn't change according to your suggestion, anyway thanks. Too bad EAC only can detect IDE drives.
