When i read a normal cd the speed doesn't get above 20 X (~ 3000 KB/s) and when I write a DVD it starts with 1 X and drops to 0.5 X. I upgraded firmware from 1.04 to 1.1 and nothing changed. Please can someone help ! Thanks in advance |

| Check the BIOS for the SATA options you have.

| I checked. There's only the SATA-IDE onboard function, either IDE or RAID. It's set to IDE |

| Hi, I have a intel DP35DP motherboard and I have the drivers updated but the Asus DRW-1814BLT are reading and writing so slow, what can I do? And another question, somebody know how to reset the region counter or how to set the recorder to multi-region? |

| Check the manual and try to change SATA settings in the BIOS.

| Have not seen a RPC1 fw yet. Try using software solutions.
