NEC / Optiarc Writer Discuss, Search DVD Ram Driver at CD and DVD Writers forum; Bought a new Nec ND 4570A,which can DVD ram;found no driver for OS Win98SE;Nec is not answering my support question;do not want to use InCD;does someone know where I can get the driver?Other dvd functions okay.

Hello burnion,

B.H.A has DVD-RAM driver, but the new versions are only updates for a full version:

Keep in mind, that this driver is property of Panasonic. It is marketed by BHA Corp. as part of their B's Clip software package. In former times, LG licensed BHA's CD/DVD burning software and bundled it (including B's Clip) with their drives. But this time is over.
With the exception of Panasonic, there is no DVD drive manufacturer, who licensed Panasonic's DVD-RAM driver for bundling with their hardware. Also, I am not aware of a DVD writer brand that comes with a copy of BHA software.
If you don't like InCD, then there are exactly two options:

Buy B's Clip from bhacorp.com or
Use a search engine http://www.google.com/search?q=DVD-RAM+driver+Win9x should do the job. (Confirmed, found them on the first result site)

3. Upgrade to a modern operating system. Even Microsoft has discontinued support for Windows 98 as it is eight years old.
