Optiarc Ad 7203A firmware

I recently purchased a new computer, the drive it came with is an Optiarc AD 7203A, the firmware is 1-W2, is this the latest firmware, if not how do I get the new one I used to be able to check it with IMgBurn or Decrypter, no more. Is this rated as a good burner, as I have several others I can install, including some Benq's(1620, 1650, 1655).
