| Just run the executable and have a look at your temp directory and its subdirectories.

| Basically based off of 2.17 without DL support of course. I'm assuming the difference between 1.38f and 1.38h in DVD+R format is the difference between bitsetting or not?

| No DL support as awaited : it's a NEC 2500 clone, not an official 2510 clone. Braxas is right, DVD+R is the newest I have seen on 25x0. PS : DVD+RW is bitsetted too, so? |

| Firmware HP 420n 1.33 (NEC 2500 clone) HERE Flash it with http://binflash.cdfreaks.com (Win32 GUI v1.03a) Quikee, some job for you : Two RPC1/No rip lock version are needed : One with NEC 2500 id string. One with NEC 2510 id string. |

| Hey ! he he... Thanks a lot again Quikee. Since I have a lot of DVD+R discs and no DVD+R DL at the moment (only 1 burn since I have my 2510), I shall install this soon on my 2510 2.F8 for DVD+R newest strategies. I want to test DVD+RW bitsetting avaibility of this firmware too, since old HP firmware have no problems with DVD-ROM bitsetting on already formatted DVD+RW discs... |

| That is correct but they may differ in write strategies... EDIT: Hmmm... Actually they differ in supported speed.... RICOHJPNR01 is supported at 4x... in 2.F8 at 6x... So I think it's not as good as 2.F8 No changes in write strats...
