I am wondering whether NEC 3500 is better than 2510A model.

My NEC 2510A written DVD Medias are unreadable by Toshiba SD-C2502.

Now the issue eas different with Liteon 812S@832S.Liteon written medias
were very well readable from beginning to the end.

now i think of changing 2510A drive to 3500 so maybe i can overcome these
problems.

Whats your opinion ?

Neither. Get a Pioneer A08 firmware avail has alot more disc options with better burns. I will probably be switching to one soon from my 3500a.

Any problems you're having with the nec will be a result of the media you're using. The NEC2510 can be one of the best burners (yes, still) when using the right media.

It's a faster drive, if you have faster rated media, or hacked firmware
Reports by users that have upgraded from the 2510/2500@2510 indicates quality is much the same.
