| hi evey body , i have serious problem , it's begain when i burn a dvd-r and after it finished , im tried to read it but the optiarc AD-5170A didn't read it it's appear CD Drive and its empty im tried burn another DVD but no change ,i search for a solution , so i tried to change firmware and i did i changed it from firmware version 1.11 to 1.13 , after i did that i found it's read the all DVD good and also read previous DVD which i burned and weren't want to read , but when i try to burn dvd its stop and not burn and make the computer crush ,and also it's didn't read any CD's (700m) , so im try to restore the previous firmwork which i was saved on my computer , and it's done , but when i restored it back , the dvd doesn't read any dvd or cd or make boot , i tried more version firmware 1.11b and 1.12 but no way to burn again, the only thing that work is read dvd only when i install 1.13 but not burn and not read CD's. hope any one can help me thanks |

| Go into devicemanager, uninstall the ide channels and the optical drives listed, then restart.
