| If all goes well. LD_V1 Final will be posted tonight, although it may well be late tonight. Yes indeed a handful of people got the Final code early to do some final testing before release. @yangx1 Not in LD_V1. i will pick this up when version 2 beta project starts, soon i hope ![]() @pinto2. yep i think that strategy seems to work well for 04D1. Thanks for testing it again.

| But we could add 4x for the RITEKD01 from previous firmwares that contained writing strategies for this speed. Unfortunately we had to drop RICOH-DL support in this case.

| Hello Liggy and Dee can there be something done about the 4X TDK TTG01 DVD-R they seem to still be having problems at the end no matter what speed. A 2X and 4X Transfer Rate Test.

| @ XND1n01h I have tried different batches of this media on different recording devices and always get the same slowdown near end of a transfer test on the NEC. I think that the dye might be thta little bit weaker at the end of the NEC is just not reading them very well at maximum read speeds as my Disc Quality tests have never given me any indication as to why these slowdowns occur. |

| @JoJo79 with original firmware you can only burn ritek M02 at 4x ,didn´t try with latest firmware but with beta 12 (i think ) i can burn those at 8x and loved the results. |

| Dee-27, Is there much difference between RC2 and RC3 (http://upload.cdfreaks.com/Dee27/LD_V1_RC3.zip) |
- #146
| Liggy, Dee-27, First I would like to thank you both for the great firmware you make! I have bought Expert (Overprinted A-Gade Imantions) 4X (SL) +R but the are yet supported for speeding up with your firmware could you look in to this? I would be forever grateful They work great at 4X with your firmware on any DVD player even the ones that only read DVD-R (Tnx to your bitsetting). If you want I'll do and post some tests. I have both the NEC 3500AG and 2510ATnx again! Thanks for your work on LD_V1. Is there a changelog for rc1->final? I'm using LD_V1.zip (rc1) right now. I only have Ritek DVD+R single layer 8x media. Is there any reason for me to reflash at this time to LD V1 final with that media? Or are there bug fixes in the final release that are worth reflashing? It takes me 14 minutes to burn 4273 MB on to a DVD+R. I'm using the default speed that it detects and not forcing it to use a higher speed.
