| Just running a quality test on a G05 burned at 12x. Burn seemed to go well so fingers crossed Just got a PI spike at 2477!!!!!! Seems to be where the speed of the disc changes in the burn where the greatest errors occur.Unfortunately i cant access my webspace at the mo but i'll post pictures when i can

| Just wanted to thank you for your excellent work on the firmware! Well this is my first post here.. and my first Dual Layer burn. so i was gonna share my results. Didnt know that there was a RC2 release. so my burn was with the RC1 firmware on a 3500a. Verbatim (MKM001) burned at 2.4x |

| Imation, CMC MAG.AE1, 8x branded, burned @ 12x, LD_V1_RC2 Hmm, I think I like this burn better, albeit, it was burned with a different app ( CloneDVD2). Edit: Also I note the NS v3.50 write information cannot be picked up on this disc. I've never seen this before. I'll upgrade to v3.55...

| I have to agree C0deKing, i feared this may happen if i tried to play with 2X - 8X parts of the Custom Strats. Ritek G04 burn better (slightly) those MAG AE1 are worse. It was worth a try i'll revert back to the old 2X - 8X parts for next release. most likely Thursday now.

| @2610 Nice burn on the MCC02RG20 The RITEK G05 has way to many PIF errors. I guess 12X is a no go area with the current strategy. EDIT : bedtime for me

| Thought i'd try out a few more disc on this RC2 rls.. started with Verbatims MCC02RG20 but failed with a ERROR - No Seek Complete.. (will retry this test coz of the already submitted successfull results) Next i tried Riteks G05, to c how it compared to my previous burn.. looks very similar RC2 @ RITEK G05 @ 12X: ![]() ![]() comparing this kprobe to the RC1 kprobe:

| ok.. just tried another MCC02RG20.. this time another error (PROGRAM MEMORY AREA UPDATE FAILURE (037304)) dont think i'll waste another Verbatim MCC02RG20 disc on RC2.. dont understand this.. actually, lemme try 1 more on my other 3500
