I think 12x is too fast for these guys.

So here is TDK 001 4x +R media. burned @12x with latest CopyToDVD and 1.W2
It's 300% overclocked and I think it's not perfect, but not bad at all for that speed.

Arita DVD+R 8x RITEKR03-02, burned at 8x using FW 1.W2. I have no idea why the burning speed was so erratic or why the burner kicked back to 4x at the end...

Both post #1 of this thread and the documentation supplied with the firmware say that R03-02 can be burned at 12x. However, I could only burn it at 8x.

I see that HardwareHarry's RICOH JPNR01 were burned with P-CAV, while mine were burned with Z-CLV. Could someone elaborate on this?
