Flasher needed for Quickee Firmware (Nec 3500)
| NEC / Optiarc Writer Discuss, Flasher needed for Quickee Firmware (Nec 3500) at CD and DVD Writers forum; Hi, I've been following throught the developments iro 2.28 V3 Milestone. Decided to download the Quikee2 Milestone Final Extreme Edition 2.18 fw (or 2.28 for that matter) and downloaded also the binflash (GUI) to flash it. It doesn't work. Which flasher should i use for the above fw? many thanks, |

| I just goes on forever and at the end it says flash failed.. I 'm afraid thats about it, no more info. The question is should i be able to flash any firmware with the binflash (GUI)?? thanks, Alex |
| i flashed the drive but from DOS (true) and with NECFLASH. It works alright. Could not flash it at all from Win XP SP2 (not either 2.18 from NEC) So there must be some sort of incompatability somewhere ..  |
