Hope you guys can help otherwise I will need to buy new DVP which I can't really afford with new baby on the way! I only tried to burn my 1st DVD about a week ago so has been steep learning curve, please be gentle .

Sorry, but the 7530 drives are not based on a NEC / Optiarc design. It's probably a rebadged QSI drive instead. So there will probably not be any firmware patches from us.
